Lifesize introduces Icon 450 system
Lifesize has launched its Icon 450 HD camera and phone system for pairing with its cloud-based video communications platform.
The plug-and-play Icon 450 system incorporates a camera design specifically designed to bring video collaboration into huddle spaces, featuring a smart-framing sensor that adjusts its wide-angle camera lens to automatically capture and include everyone in the picture (offering an 82-degree horizontal field of view and a 59-degree vertical field of view). Manual camera controls also allow users to customise its position when appropriate.
By combining the Lifesize’s Icon 450 and cloud-based application users can automatically launch meetings from Microsoft Office 365 or Google Apps for Work, conference with Skype for Business users and connect employees and guests from their phones or internet browsers with a touch of the Lifesize PhoneHD.
